Darn brake pedal rod!!

Hello again working on my daughters 67 C10 some more.

I bought a kit to convert her drum manual brakes to power front discs. The booster and master cylinder all came together. I have been trying to adjust the rod going to the brake pedal to the booster assembly. The rod has an adjuster to set length, but the stupid thing is threaded with right hand threads on both ends! So you can turn it to adjust, but it just turns into one end and out of the other end, and doesn't change length! The only way to actually change how long is to unhook the end and turn that end only.

On our racecars, we have several bars that adjust too, but they have a right hand thread on o9ne end, and a left hand thread on the other. That way when you turn the middle, it gets longer or shorter depending on which way you turn it. I don't know if the maker just messed this up, or what, but it is very aggravating to work with!! The rod under the hood going into the booster is the same way, it won't adjust, it has to be unhooked and turned.. ARGH!!!!!
