[QUOTE=68Cervd;8047669]Would I be able to buy one for an nv3500 I know they are not the greatest trannys but its what I have. And would I be able to use my 71 booster or would it just be easier to get an older style booster?

Hi 68Cervd- this summer I put a NV 3500 out of a 2006 4.3 Silverado into my 69 blazer and it is one of the best things I've done to the truck. It takes some fiddling around with things like transmission brackets, flywheels / pressure plates and figuring out how to get the mechanical speedometer to work with the VSS on the transmission. But the good thing is that with the NV3500, your shifter ends up in the right place for either a bench or buckets with the center console.

Be aware that there are some differences between the 2006 NW3500, and the NV3500s they put in the old S10's.

Do you have a thread started on how you swapped the transmission into your blazer and did you make your own cross member or did you purchase one?
