another disc brake conversion question

Was wondering if anyone has found a complete disc brake conversion kit that has, 2" drop spindles, rotor/caliper all the hardware that doesn't make the wheel stickout further? Also would like a lowering kit that's has everything complete.

Re: another disc brake conversion question

Started to order a kit a couple days ago, and noticed it said makes the wheel stick out further. Thought someone might have overcome this problem.

I'm running this one. Wheels sit perfectly.

This one doesn't list for a truck. So you are running 5x5.75 lug patterns on the front? Did you have the rear axles re drilled?

Re: another disc brake conversion question

The last response brings up another question, what bolt pattern is Chevy truck? I figured seems its Chevy half ton it would be 5x5 3/4. I know not all are, even now but what the heck is it?

Re: another disc brake conversion question

5 on 5 for GM 2wd trucks and vans from 71 up to the early 90s
Big GM cars are that pattern from the 60s to the 80s
Also big Ford & Lincoln cars through out the 70s. Lots of possibilities for 9” rears if you want to go thru the work to swap one.

Re: another disc brake conversion question

Just purchased this day before yesterday.

This kit comes with 2 1/2" lowering spindles though. Not sure if that is optional.
