A few questions

Hello All! I picked up a 70 c10 and I have a few questions.
1. Is there anyway to tell if your bumpers were originally painted or chromed?
2. I have a hole in the driver's side of my cowl that matches the antenna hole in the passenger side. Was there some dealer option which was installed there?

Re: A few questions

If you think your painted bumper was originally chrome then look at the back side. I doubt they painted the back but if is is painted you can scrape some off. If it was chrome you should see chrome (a kinda /sorta dullish, "not quite finished" chrome)

As far as the antenna hole I don't believe GM ever made one with dual holes.

Re: A few questions

Thank you Sir. The back of the bumper is not chrome, and considering the condition of this truck, an extra hole is not that surprising.
