DeadheadNM & Curtb1971, sorry but neither of you are even close. It's part of a fairly uncommon option.

Re: Let's play name that part, bolt, harness, screw....
Good job Zep, Iron too. Looked like potential throttle, but I've never seen one.
According to my mostly unmolested 71 C-10, 2WD, these were used to mount two items: Over the top trivial probably. At a second glance, I had these bolts on three parts. There's another version of the same bolt stamped with a circle.

Any idea what these ac brackets fit? Early small block? Aftermarket? Pulley is larger than usual as well. I’m pretty sure it came off a 67-72

Re: Let's play name that part, bolt, harness, screw....
No takers on the L8 bolt and flat sides washers I see. So I'll give it away for edge-u-cationals. These come off a 71 C-10.
The L8 bolts mount the steering box. They also mount the upper control arm support to the wall of the frame, which screw into the fixed square nuts on the support..............I also found one for the upper control arm to frame. In that case GM was using up bolts, I ended up with three types. The flat sides washers are used to mount the engine crossmember to the bottom of the frame. Two are used for each bolt (=12). On a side, I was surprised to see the application didn't have lock washers or lock nuts. Just plain regular nuts. I checked the assembly manual to confirm, but came up empty. Probably missing it. Perhaps some takers on this stud. Can't speak for prior to 1971, but I can say the 72 BBC doesn't use one (hint ![]()

Re: Let's play name that part, bolt, harness, screw....
That stud is used for the heat shield mounting on the driver exhaust manifold, also used for mounting a small block AC bracket to the other exhaust manifold.

Re: Let's play name that part, bolt, harness, screw....
Okie Dokie, I'll give another one away. The stud goes to the front hole in the intake manifold on the LH side for the top alternator bracket on a 71 BBC. I assume prior years as well, but the 72 uses a different set-up.

Nice work Scott. Good to know these are correct for shoulder belts also.

Anyone recognize these? There are two different size screws shown.

Larger ones with shoulder are door lock to door screws.
