71 LWB build (Charlie Brown)
Hi everyone! My girlfriend decided to buy a 71 C10 to replace her S4. Figured I'd start documenting the transformation. Her plan is to make it a nice daily driver.

I dont use rattle can for anything now. Eastwood has engine paint that is 2k you can get in a spray can if you dont have access to a compressor.

Re: 71 LWB build (Charlie Brown)
Did a little more tidying today & AAW harness came in.
Before: ![]() After: ![]() ![]() The guy I bought it from said the engine was rebuilt. I took a peek through the spark plug bore and can still see the part numbers on top of the pistons and found a few reman tags on the motor. ![]() ![]() ![]() I know theres nothing groundbreaking here but hopefully it starts to get more exciting once the tank, motor mounts, headers, & engine orange paint arrive. Gonna start installing the AAW harness soon as I move another project into storage. Give me more tinkering room. |

Always feels good to hear them running after you’ve had everything apart
