4 speed powerglide?

I seen a 69 c10 for sale. St 6 with 3 on the tree and... push button overdrive. He called it a 4 speed manual power glide tranny. Is this correct?

Not correct. Powerglide was a 2 speed auto as far as I know. In 69 you could get a 3 on the tree with a factory overdrive, but was still a manual 3 speed.

Not even. Be sure to stay away from what that guy is smoking, it's gonna give you drain bamage. A Powerglide is a 2 speed automatic transmission and can't be modified for more speeds.

Re: 4 speed powerglide?

It sounds like he has a 3 speed manual with an overdrive and doesn't know the correct name for it. If it does have overdrive, I would buy it. I don't think they are that common.

Not a "powerglide", as others have mentioned. But likely a factory overdrive... on the SPID that would be RPO M10. Rare, and pretty cool in my opinion. Also the last year they were ever offered.
