Re: '72 GMC long/fleet in Ottawa area

Was just going through some archived photos of this thing and one stuck on me ... how far this cab has come through this. This is the California cab I got from Bill's after I got it blasted and epoxy coated. Minimal rust but hammered up pretty bad in the worst possible places. You can see the compound curves mid-rear and the cargo light hammered in at the roof. The compound curves at the rear top corners were even worse. Ended up having to cut out the inside panel to get at those curves and hammer them back out and weld back in again. Came out not bad all things considered but more hours than I could begin to count!
