i like that truck...a late model stepside bed, and the front fenders have been done to match.

Without a doubt he has some serious time & money in this thing. I would like to really take real up close personal look at it.

I like the way they matched it all up. I agree the shift looks a bit off for the combom, but I really like it. Guess I'll save my 96 if I ever wear it out.

I like that they went to the work of matching the wheel openings, but I think they went the wrong way........The older "round" openings would have been cool on the newer bed.
The graphics and the Yosimite Sam scream 80s though ![]() Something like this....... Last edited by LONGHAIR; 06-27-2004 at 01:54 PM. |

Someone has to say it ... nice workmanship but UGLY in my opinion.
The '68 has such nice lines I hate to see them messed with. ![]()

I would have to agree. I can appreciate the work that went into it but it is definitely not my style.

Never looked, don`t like altering the best looking(modern)truck ever made to date.I feel the late bed thing is a cheap(easy)way out.Kinda like the ol`flatbed deal.It works, but keep lookin`for the right stuff.

Lot of quality work but that is my least favorite dash EVER in a full size. The dash after that I like but I hate that one. It has never looked right to me.

Kind of hard to restore it back to stock. They screwed the cab when they chopped it...

Not my cup of tea, But almost great workmanship. But why would you do all that work, and put a handbrake on the floor and not put a foot brake in (instead of the original handbrake). Not a big fan of the big ole auto shifter either.

My first thought was AWESOME because of the matching fender openings. I think it really makes the new and old blend together awesome. Round openings might be better, (convertng new to old rather than trying to make old look new) But I hate the dash. Original looks 100 x better. Thw fender well openings is one thing that you will not notice unless you know these trucks well, but it is well worth the work IMO if you are putting a late bed on 67-72's...

The person who built this truck definately has more money than brains. Not my idea of a cool '67-'72 truck. Thing ought ta be crushed. Don't gasp, not too much of a loss for us, it's mostly NON '67-'72 anyway, ...cheer up!
