It's a Mobil1 filter that refused to come off. There was paint on the block and the seal stuck to it. You can see a little red on the seal.. I have since cleaned the paint off. I am also feeling a bit skeptical of the recommended 1-1/4 turns past contact they show on the sticker.

I picked these up to use on my 400 small block build.

Transmission leaks fixed (shift shaft and Speedo gear) - though I didn't do it myself. Replaced signal mech, hope that nails my short/blowing fuse and after replacing all the screws, inserts, and springs I did a very early morning headlight adjustment a bit ago! Nice to have a morning drive in the truck :-)

Oh and for a nice little topping, noticed my antenna was loose and moved, so I adjusted that when I got home.

1/4 turn seems a little loose, but I agree 1-1/4 is way too tight.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
