8' steel bed floor

Is the ribbing / pattern / waffling whatever they call it the same on all 67-72 steel bed floors?

Is this same pattern the same on latter years say 73 & up?

Thanks

TTT

I am also curious if later model bed floors have the same pattern. (In other words could we cut a patch panel from a square body bed?)

Someone must know.

No, they are different. I don't remember whether the later bed floors have wider or narrower ribs, but I am thinking wider.

As Lockdoc said the ridges are different widths by about 1/4" or so...I believe....
