15x8 rally wheels have 4" B/S and easily clear everything in the front on my 69 C10.
The only issue I've ever had is a BFG Radial T/A 255/70 tire rubbing the front fender lip if you hit a bump during a turn. That was with approximately 2" front drop. However Cooper Cobras are a shade narrower than BFG Radial T/As, and don't rub. Also, and this might make a difference, my truck has 85 C10 spindles.
