For your 1st timers like me:
1. Try to get all your panels from same supplier. Bottom lip where you tac to the wheel arch had to be modified to look somewhat the same.
2. Make sure you have some support on the inside pushing the panel out. I was so worried about not having big gap that I didn’t notice that the top weld from the door to the wheel arch had pushed in. This is because this section of the panel only has a horizontal support. The back half has a vertical support so didn’t have an issue on the back 1/2.
3. This was not an issue but when you weld jump around on the welds to avoid warping.
Hopefully these pics will help the next guy trying to do this job.
