CA WTB - 3 Groove Crank Pulley for SBC with Short Water Pump

I've currently got a two-piece two-groove crank pulley setup, and I'm looking to go to three grooves so I can add A/C. I believe I only need a new inner pulley with two grooves to go with my current outer single-groove piece. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I hope this helps. The part number is 3744043 this is the 2 groove pulley. Still can be purchased thru GM. Can also be purchased on EBay. If you need more help let me know I have this pulley setup on my 72 with factory air. Thanks Don

The other pulley #3751232 would be the power steering pulley single groove. That should you there. Don

Do you think my existing single groove crank pulley for my PS will work with the double groove pulley?

Yes, you are on the right track and it should be as simple as swapping the single groove inner crank pulley out for the two groove inner and then reinstalling the outer p/s add on. If working with an OE style swp (LH/drivers side alternator) bracket/pulley setup, what year is your setup, are your existing pulleys OE GM pieces and if so do you know any of your pulley p/n's? Had you mentioned needing the crank pulley, we could have added/combined a swp inner two groove crank pulley (OE used $35.) in with Fridays steering column parts order. Don's above added pulley p/n info looks good for small block 72 models, so if you are going to be buying/chasing the above mentioned 3744043 BA two groove inner crank pulley then you should also have the matching short water pump two groove pulley p/n 3995646 AH (see below). Let us know if we can help with any OE swp pulleys, Mel

I'm planning on installing a Vintage Air system on my non-A/C 1968 truck. Based on what I've read on their website, my understanding is that OEM A/C pulleys should line up with their aftermarket compressor that mounts on the passenger side of the engine. I have the original non-A/C pulleys on my truck currently, along with power steering. I have purchased a two groove water pump pulley, but I will need to check the part number to verify it is the same as the one you posted. I will take you up on your offer for the OE two-groove crank pulley, but let me check the part number of my water pump pulley in case I need that too. I am out of town right now so I won't be able to check until later this week. Thank you for your help!

Just surface and after sandblasting, both pulleys will look like the below pictured pulleys and the one that I posted in above reply #6. We do not currently have anything else to go right now but could get the two pulleys out to my blast guy, cost would probably be $20.-$25. and would need to allow for a 3-5 business day turnaround time. Surface rust is just fine. I bought another pulley recently, and it ended up having serious pitting, so I just don't want to repeat that mistake. I'll send payment shortly.
