Meaty!!

I finally got some tires that start with 3!! Got my new 18x11 Rocket Attack wheels put on with 315/30/18 tires!! To get the backspacing I wanted, I had to convert to 5x4.75 bolt pattern. The front was easy with the Wilwood setup since they're already drilled and tapped for both with screw in studs. For the rear, I swapped in a new set of Moser axles, then used a drill guide from Hells Gate Hot Rods to drill the rotors.

Re: Meaty!!

I can't believe you found a way to improve on that truck. But you sure do manage to do that well. That is one fine purpose-built '68!

Re: Meaty!!

Looks amazing, congratulations. Those wheels really suit the truck.

I know how much time and measurements go into wheel selection, it is sure nice to see it pay off like this.

Could I ask what back space you have? Trying to do the same thing with my 20s

Re: Meaty!!

How did you handle the inner bedsides? I know you were running 285 compared to my 275, but there ain’t no way anything that starts with a 3 fits underneath with stock inners!

These are 6.5" backspace. Keep in mind, you'll still have to measure and make sure what size you need. Your suspension may not allow for the same clearance that my TCI stuff does.

Re: Meaty!!

Awesome. My original bed floor has finally failed. Maybe I will do some mini-tubs like that as well. The big tires look sweet!
