20x10 Rear. Will They Fit Question

I've searched and can't find the definite yes no answer. 72 Fleetside LWB with original 72 rearend. 4.5/6 Static drop. Looking at some wheels for the rear that are 20x10 but only come in 4.5 backspace. I would go out and measure but body is off the frame right now. I've seen a few with 5" bs but think the 4.5 might be pushing it. Thoughts?

I’d rather have a 5.5” bs on a 10” wide wheel with the wider 71-72 rear axle.

Lowlife99 nailed it. 4.5 will probably rub.

I just posted some info about this the other day. Last post in this thread

Re: 20x10 Rear. Will They Fit Question

Too many varibles to just spit out numbers really.
Two different rearend widths.
Stepside and fleetside trucks need different bs numbers on the rear wheels.
Static dropped or bagged also changes everything.
Best to measure your own truck.
Plus I like my wheels tucked more than most.
So personal opinion on “how it looks” is different between people.
In my opinion there are Very few “off the shelf” wheels that work on these trucks.

Oh I agree on the off the shelf part. The ones I tend to like don't tend to be available in the correct size or bolt pattern or backspacing.
