I wanted one giant one, but didn’t want to deal with pulling permits and having my property tax increased. 10x12 is the largest you can go without having to do that, but you can build it as tall as you want so I opted for barn style with lofts for even more storage. The goal is to clean out my 3 car garage and make that my shop to work on my truck and other vehicles.

My city is the same way, but I used a metal shed. I sometimes consider that I should have listened to my wife and built a cripple wall to set the shed on, but the real problem is that we have way too much junk. If my wife dies before I do, there will be a couple of 30-yard dumpsters cycled through my curbside. That's after I sell off the "antiques".
