Re: Front brake hoses too short for 2.5" drop spindles?
I think I recall running across this thread years ago when I was having trouble finding front brake hoses. Good info here.
For my 72 C10 with 2.5” drop spindles and 1 cut coil (4.5” drop) I used 1972 C20 brake hoses. They fit well, no rubbing. I did have to file the fitting were the hose mounts to the bracket on the A arm to make it fit better, but it wasn’t bad. At the time I ordered them from LMC truck, part # was 34-4415, but I’m sure they could be found at NAPA, or another local auto parts store. If not I have ordered from GMC Pauls recently, and been very happy.
