Wrong front seats

I recently picked up a 1972 blazer.

From what I have gathered I have 73+ seats in it.

My question is are the seats the same and just the brackets different?

Do I need to change both seat brackets to at least get them to sit correct?

Welcome aboard. When possible, post up photos of what your have so we can get you the best info. The seat brackets do differ for 73+ front seats.

I actually just messaged him on facebook.
Sounds like he can alter the driver seat bracket only.

My account had been deleted that I made years ago. I'm guessing from being off the site for so long, made a new one last year. Now I am unable to post in the wtb?

Re: Wrong front seats

Getting close on my rebuild to deal with seats.
I have my originals, but I’d like to see if any of you have had luck replacing them with some where the driver seat folds forward.
Tired of having to go to the passenger side to put in a bag or 2 of groceries

Next: Rust removal on my Blazer.
Thinking of putting a 50 Chevy cab on a 76 Chev 4 WD pickup.

Re: Wrong front seats

I dont own a Blazer so (what do I know lol) Im curious what is wrong with the seat mounting brackets you have besides the fact they arent stock? From the pictures your seats look very nice and not at a weird angle.
