Recovering sun visors

Is it possible to remove the spring on the triangle shaped, three screw connector that holds the visor to the body? I have another of visors with a different screw pattern that would be much easier to cover than rebuilding on my old visors. The spring seems to be pressed on, but could be removed. I would like to hear any idea on how to replace a spring or if is impossible.

Re: Recovering sun visors

Become a subscribing member and place a WTB(want to buy ) ad in the parts section , disecting visors isn't worth the time or effort .
