Youall are these three round holes for door trim of sorts

me again with more dumb newb questions, trying to sell this driver side door for my buddy and I don't know if these three large round holes along the bottom body line are stock factory for some sort of trim/molding or did some dingleberry add some inevitable speed holes to it

Most just use the stick on clips in the places. where your 3 holes are. Somebody may not have had them and used the door end clips all the way across.

Factory for 67 68 style mouldings. Won't work with 69 72 style mouldings.

Why ? Factory assembly manual shows those holes for 70

Yes but 69-72 trim is wider and I believe the holes are lower in the door for those years to line up the trim to the body line. Plus 69 up uses screws in some locations that are not on the door. Now that being said I have not personally tried to swap the trim so if someone has done this they may be able to nix my thought.
