I've also used the 3M trim tape - its double-sided.

X2 on the double sided tape. Mine has led for 20+ years.

To answer the OPs question, i believe it has 3 barrel nuts holding it on.

There is no way to attach barrel nuts on the opposite side of the glove box door. No access at all.

Does anybody know? Are there just push pins holding the emblem on and you just pop it off the glove box door? It is a factory stock glove box door for 1968 C10

Maybe i should say a barrel clip. They do not go through. They expand inside the door when the pins are pushed into them. To pull the emblem, gently work it off with a thin flat bar. Sometimes the pins will break on plastic emblems.

Does anybody have pictures of how the factory did it? I could swear when I took the emblem off my door it was glued on from the factory. There were not any barrel clips. The pins on the replacement emblems are tiny, compared to other emblems that use barrel clips, and the emblem is plastic unlike the others.

Is you door like this one, with this emblem? I bought this one to restore, and noticed that there were barrel clips in it. They were pulled out as I went a different route with it.

I finished mine off to match the bed wood as best I could. Then I applied this Chevrolet scrip emblem with the double sided 3M tape - hoping up very well.
