WTB front windshield SS trim

Hey all.
I am looking for the front windshield trim for a 68-70. It’s the large flanged stainless steel trim. (I have 2 sets of the small flange) Preferably NOS or close to perfect as I can get.
Thank you in advance
Scott.

Re: WTB front windshield SS trim

Wish I could help. Best to try and find local. Be aware that box size will have shipping at $120-$150. UPS is still trying to make me pay an added cost for dimensional weight after I already purchased a label on their site on a box for 72 trim. Fedex is the same cost.

Re: WTB front windshield SS trim

We are lucky enough to have a local guy that makes a living removing dents from SS trim. I am amazed what he can do. Maybe you have someone local with the same talents.

I mention this as perfect SS trim is almost impossible to find and the high shipping cost associated with moving this trim, through the mail, with it's compound bends.

Unmolested windshield trim is likely easier to find than the back window SS.

Re: WTB front windshield SS trim

I’d want $200 if you’re taking my best . I have 3 sets. You can come mix and match and take the best 6 pieces to make your set.

Re: WTB front windshield SS trim

I bought 2 repops and neither one would fit, gave my windshield guy fits. Bought a used set and they fit perfectly.

Re: WTB front windshield SS trim

I got a set that has the 5/8 lip and a set that has a thin lip on it, what years are these?
And which one is preferred?
Thanks

69/70 5/8 is preferred stays in the seal when installing glass.
71/72 don’t know the size because I don’t use them
