71 Custom Deluxe, SWB, 2WD, 402, A/C. I developed an assm. guide "kit" for restoring it from ground up. With assys, the guide accts for 1000s details such as OEM identifications& part numbers, written in short order. 700+ images include assm, illust., charts, and points of interest. Saw the movie many times. Stayed at the Stanley Hotel but you have to make reservations months in advance. And date on picture doesn't always mean much. That picture is from the movie.

I am glad I am not the only one here that has not seen the movie, at least not all of the movie. The picture looked to me like one that could have came from that era. And if the date was not on it then my guess would have been Jack for sure.

that picture was shown at the end of the movie to imply Jack Torrance (Nicholson) was reincarnated from that era

King and Kubrick both have disturbed minds LoL

Mrs. Bee is out of town for work so I'm spoiling the kids

this is hanging on the wall of our local Dairy Queen

anyone been to the DQ in Hope Arkansas?

Yeah, couldn't help but see bits & pieces of the movie and hear all the talk. Somewhere around then I stopped going to theaters, plus I'm just not into horrors movies.

But I've been to the Stanley Hotel... in a deuce and a quarter. We stayed at a hostel near Estes Park and a troop carrier was the bus into town and a daily tour wagon.

The Zonks. That's a name I do not recall. I am very familiar with Dairy Queen, though! I had to look them up
