Carpet source

I'm gathering a mongo sized pile of parts to do outer and inner rockers and I'm going to swat a few other flies while I have the interior gutted. 3 point belts to replace the aviation lap belts, relocating the gas tank and you guessed it new carpet to replace the rubber mat. I'd love to see and touch the available options but that's not happening so I'll ask you guys the preferred vendors you've used and liked or hated. I've looked into LMC, Brothers and classic industries. A little square on my PC screen doesn't tell me much about texture and construction.

Re: Carpet source

ACC will send you carpet samples. Might be worth finding an ACC dealer you like first (ie Rockauto) to see what colors the dealer offers before requesting the sample through ACC

Seatbelt planet is also good about sending samples

Re: Carpet source

I used one from LMC a few years ago. It didn't fit good at all.
I have heard ACC is the best. Thats what I would go with if I did another one.

Re: Carpet source

I also have an ACC and it fit fine. I dont recall all I did on the install. I did cut an "X" for the pins on the floor that holds the orig rubber mat down.

Re: Carpet source

Rock auto had the best deal on ACC carpet when I did mine. I went with the "mass backed" option and it was pretty decent. A little short between the kick panels maybe, or it was just me laying it out a bit off kilter.
