I really like the Jeep Electric fan setup although the prices have jumped for the fan $171.45
https://moparonlineparts.com/mop-parts/#parts

and the JEGS wiring kit has gone done $34.99
http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...rsistYmm=false

so for around $210 and shipping it can still be done and I'm thinking about doing it this spring.
I bought an equivalent fan off of Amazon for $70. Spectra Premium CF13002 Radiator Fan Assembly. You can also find fans that fit the Jeep on Rock Auto

I used carriage bolts and bolted it all the way through the frame. Just go easy when you tighten them up. Pretty easy overall.... No shroud needed with this setup.

LockDoc, what did you use to control this fan?

Re: Electric Fans

I used Flex-a-lite Syclone fans. They were actually a bit too big, so I made a custom plate out of Lexan.
It turned out awesome.
I controlled each fan with the FITech system. Had one turn on at 180, and the other at 185.
Zero issues.

In the picture of just the fans sitting on top of the radiator, they are turned the wrong way, making them look terribly oversized.
But when they are turned 90*, they aren’t as wide, and fit excellent. They only overhung by about an inch on each side, and cover almost the entire radiator surface.
