Question Best repair panels and sheetmetal

I read a thread on here the other day about the best air induction hoods and who made what and how there are only a couple of manufacturers but many retail brand names.

My question to you guys is this: Are all sheet metal repro parts and patch panels equal.

LMC admits their stuff is from oversees and I may be reading into it, but it seems that ECE is saying their stuff is American.

Who's metal do you guys recommend? I just ordered edfabman's DVD series and want to start purchasing the metal to go with it. I know there are other retailers out there like Classic Heartbeat and GMCPauls as well as others. There are too many choices and I want to learn from you guys experience.

i have a buddy doing a 68 up and he just bought lmc rockers. he ended up returning them because he got some from a place called kentucky classics and there`s looked a lot better and thicker. i guess there would be a few different places that stamp these then. in think he said they only cost $3 dollars more than the lmc ones.

Who ever you get your sheetmetal parts from make sure it's TRI PLUS brand sheetmetal then shop part price with shipping cost, return policy and customer service.
