I've always been against having a 4wd & not putting it in the mud. But you better not this one,it's way to nice to do that!
I almost traded it for a very nice Blazer, my wife would have been happy if I did that.

Not that would be a crime. I would much rather have the truck over the blazer. Especially after all the work you have put in it. The blue looks nice, will be great to see it in full paint.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!

I put the hood on to see how it looked and to hopefully get some more ambition before the rain. I did get the old support in front of the mounts and the motor mounts out for some new stuff. This should make it a little bit stiffer.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!

Here are some pictures of the motor installed in the truck. Now I have to figure out how the braces and mounting go for the serpentine belt system. I did not remove it so this should be fun.

Very nice! Are those valve covers stock GM aluminum ones polished? I had a set I did that to and they looked awesome!

Step by Step! Are your brackets and pullys powder coated or after market? They look good.

The valve covers and the brackets are all powder coated in near chrome.

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!

Well I got the windows in the rear doors all cut and installed for nwo but will e taking them back out before paint is finished. I also just received the hot rod air unit and Howell wiring for the 454/4L80 so the wiring fun is set to begin.

Looks good. Did you angle the quarter windows for reason?

Re: Project Penicillin~ 68 crewcab build up!

They were at a angle in the burb door and just turned out that way once the doors were modified for the crew cab. The track is used for the door glass and for the fixed glass.
