No real progress, been to busy with life and the holidays, now its to dang cold to get motivated. Hopefully soon I will be driving......

I like your 87, I just picked up an 86 short box w a 6" lift and 35's a few months ago, very simular. Good truck to build, kind of like it blue, at least your getting a few things done on it, to bad the last owner didn't do it any justice, glad you are, good luck with the house sale.

Well nothing wrong with it as a daily driver, used to have 67-72 as my favorite trucks and had like 6 2wd's and 2 4wd's but now that I have had 3 squares kind of liking them more all the time, coming into their own as a classic finally so glad for that that people as appreciating them more and having a short box is a bit more special to me anyway.

I was just thinking of all the work to make it road worthy, I have been fortunate in life to drive newer vehicles over the past several years. Now that I am nearing a semi retired status I am going to simplify life by driving this old beast...very excited to venture back into the 80's.....

Semi retired..nice. I wish, have a few years to go yet @ 53 going on 54 this summer will have around 7 more years for sure.
I have to agree, nothing like driving a classic, just kind of cool when all in good shape, has personality.
