Re: short bed tool box?
Look what showed up yesterday my buddy brought the truck over so I can finish up the tool box and body work on the bed. I am also going to do rockers and cab corners on it. So there will be some finished pics soon!

Re: short bed tool box?
This is'nt a build thread but i thought i would share some pics for fun.
I cleaned out the cab and found a really nice floor with no rust I pulled the rocker and found the inner is in perfect shape, only rust is in the lower a pillar. This is a local Arizona truck for sure I wish the suburban I used for my crewcab was this clean, anyway here is some pics. |

Re: short bed tool box?
Cool - great project - always a challenge to have some place to carry tools, etc without a big box in bed.

Re: short bed tool box?
I finished up the box and door but he misplaced the hinges so I never got a pic with the door installed, I will give him a call and see if he got it all put together.

Re: short bed tool box?
I know this is a long shot but man I'd love to see how it looks finished! I hadn't considered this in the past but I think it's a very cool, unique mod and way cooler than a tool box in the bed...awesome work!

Re: short bed tool box?
If he can't find the hinges he could leave the door off. It would be a stepside fleetside.
