I look forward to seeing this finished. I've seen many pics of tool boxes, but I have never seen one in person.

Re: short bed tool box?

Probably gonna generate some conversations that will have someone who knows everything possible about the '67-72's, saying he knew about the short bed tool box and saw one back in the day, but hadn't seen one in several years.

Just get a new SPID sheet and include the box in the list and let 'em guess.

Cool idea, And gutsy move when a good tool box brings nice coin to those that are looking for a complete good box.

Nice Work!! It looks like you also remove the center stake pocket. Nice Touch!!

If not for the custom side box, how many hours (or $$) does it take to do the sides, floor, etc.??

I had often wondered what a SWB would look like with the tool box door... now I'll get to see.

Nice work!

Re: short bed tool box?

I think you should also get a set of old wrenches and a hammer and cut about 5 inches out of each of them, just to add to the illusion... When someone asks what's different, just say "What, what are you talkin about???"
