Alright guys I have another question for you! I'm not happy with the pinion angle/driveshaft.... It's practically straight. It is my understanding that if there is no difference in angles from the pinion yoke to the drive shaft that you will be going through u joints pretty easy, so it seems the most simple way to change this is to flip the trailing arm mounts that are riveted to the center crossmember upside down to raise the front of the trailing arms and in return tilt the yoke up higher to change the angle in which they meet. What I would like to know; am I correct? And will this help me or hurt me more?

Hey Rick, they make shim wedges in different angles that go between the control arm and the perch. That seems a lot easier to me buddy...
 Just my .02 worth....

The control arms? Are you talking about the front? If so I understand the shim edges for the upper control arms.. I'm just worried about the rear drive shaft angle since it goes straight into the rear yoke with no difference in angles

Excuse my lack of proper terminology Rick, I'm on my eleventh day of 16 hour days and I'm whooped. I meant between the trailing arms and the diff.the shims are used to adjust the pinion angle. .... I want a nap....

Ohhh I'm sorry about that dale! I understand buddy! I see what you mean now. I thought about that but I also like that this flip brings the trailing arms up higher and will make more ground clearance and also hides them better from a side view(although where they bolt to the axle it's still going to be as bad if not worse). Just got done reading "gringoloco's" build thread called "how to ruin a perfectly good c10" on page 37 I believe he does this modification and i think it's just what I need. I think me and him both have that "Cali" lean going on so with the extra height in the rear (even though it's only 3/4 according to gringoloco" should also look better..... So looks like I need to go out and buy some grade 8 3/8's bolts/nuts/washers/lock washers from tractor supply and get busy.
