I'll pass on the lighter. It's not the original style. Were you able to locate the extra set of exterior handles you thought you had?

How much for the complete sterring shaft from the rag joint and column together. How much shipping to 37604. Do you take pay pal?

Thanks

I have to get the entire upper and lower off this truck for a total shipping quote for the guy first in line and then Ill work these other deals after that... the shipping on the tailgate trim your wanting is $8.20 if this other deal falls through. The bed trim will kill most deals since its so long the oversize charge is like $72 just for that box.

Aaron:
My assumption is that you dont want the steering wheel? $65 for the column and $20 for the shaft and rag joint. Ill see how big the box is and let you know shipping tomorrow. Ill remove the intermediate shaft and ragjoint and get it all in the same box.

No I don't need the steering wheel. What emblem is in the horn button? Do you have a bowtie emblem?

Thanks

Re: Parting out 72 Chevy 3/4 ton SB Custom Camper

I am still interested in the complete side trim for this truck and even the taillight trim if you can get it off with out bad damage. As there seems to be some controversy about who is first in line I will leave that up to your judgment. Keep in mind that if you feel the other person was first then that is fine with me. I will always abide by board rules and besides I know this board well enough to also know that I can find another set of trim. Thats what makes this board so great! Understand that there will be no hard feelings on my part. Please keep me posted.

That is the hard part! I started this post with the trim listed as sold pending becuase you asked about it in the other thread. I posted there that I would send you the link when I started the new partout of that truck. Admittedly it has taken me too long to get the trim off and I own up to that but others are asking and considering themselves first (because of their first posting). I have thought about this and needto figure it out today so everyone knows where they stand before everyone decides to pass. I will post this afternoon where we stand and get it all straingt for you both. I appologise for the confusion.

Re: Parting out 72 Chevy 3/4 ton SB Custom Camper

No need for apologies,it is a confusing situation and I am not sure how the board rules apply since it is part thread and part PM. Just let me know what your decision is. I am good with whatever decision you make. I want to be clear on that Also know that I am in no hurry. If it takes a few weeks to get the moldings off that is fine by me,I know how much work it is to get them off without damage.

Re: Parting out 72 Chevy 3/4 ton SB Custom Camper

All, I think I figured everything out for the other thread and this one. So here goes...
1 Zeus:
You were first to ask for the d/s trim for the bed in the 1/2 ton Sierra (post 88). I showed the pics of this truck before the partout and you asked to get told when it gets parted, so I pm'd you the link and said you would be first, then, In the new thread you changed to the entire trim after others asked.

2. 496:
You also inquired on the trim and wheels from this truck in the previous thread (post 106). I pm'd you the link as well as mentioned in the thread.
You requested the entire trim and there was pm's from you and I about the entire trim. This is where I messed up thinking you and Zeus were the same person. I should have waited on the pictures and everything until the new thread (someone's gonna call me a rookie!)... Which is true.

on the tailgate trim. I need the fasteners/clips if possible too. price?
Theloanrife:
You sir are an innocent bystander and got in the middle of this since I assumed the only wanted the tailgate trim and that they wanted the bedside trim.

In the end:
1. I think the best play is that I offer Zeus the d/s trim first to satisify my word from the first thread. (I should never have mixed the threads)

2. The rest of the upper/lower trim needs to get offered to 496!

3. The tailgate trim should get offered to theloanrife... even if the mistake was mine about who needed what and the confusion.

If anyone wants to pass I understand and I will attempt to not make this mistake again, that seems like the most honest and accurate way to proceed. I hope everyone understands the spot I put myself in and the decision process behind the correction.

V/R,
Mike

Re: Parting out 72 Chevy 3/4 ton SB Custom Camper

I just need a price on the camper emblems and upper tailgate trim 3pcs shipped to 37043. The price would be the deciding factor for me..

Re: Parting out 72 Chevy 3/4 ton SB Custom Camper

Sounds right to me. I will have to pass since shipping is too expensive for a few pieces of trim. If all the trim less the tailgate stuff becomes available let me know. Thanks

RPIcka/all:
Here is a few dashes I have and the one of course in this truck is not removed yet. $40 plus shipping on your choice for dashes. The light green dash temp gage wasnt hooked up so I dont know if it worked but the rest I was told were functioning in the trucks they were in before teardown.

Interested in your brake pedal assy, live in Wichita and was wondering if
I could come by and take a look at it and save a little money on shipping.

Thanks Terry

Terry,
I could just bring it to the base with me and we can get together at lunch or after work one night. I have several of these pedals if you need one. Do you need the 400 switch for a 72 or just the pedal? I have both just need to know what to bring. If you need it this weekend PM me you phone number and we can figure out a time. How about $25?
