Re: Anntanae Help

Most of the ones I've seen are in the front right fender. Autoloc make some power antennas.

or you could go to the local auto parts place and get a regular telescoping type.

Re: Anntanae Help

I personally decided that I won't need one. I have never cared for the way they look, and with my iPod, I'll never need the radio in my vehichles. I had thought about running it through a stake hole in the bed and also between the cab and bed on a power set up. That way when your truck is off you can't see it.

Re: Anntanae Help

I bought a factory reproduction and have it hooked up to a rebuilt original AM radio. FUN FUN FUN!

I still am shocked when I turn on the radio and it takes 5 - 10 seconds to warm up!.

Re: Anntanae Help

Has anyone ever put it in the area of the original gas filler hole, for the ones that have relocated their tanks under the bed and have an open og. gas tank hole

Re: Anntanae Help

don't waste your money with one of those powered hidden type, unless you have a fiberglass body,, I tried the Dakota Digital ($75.00) & think its worthless in my steel bodied car.
