Re: Your Truck's "Theme Song"

My burb doesn't have just one song. Though she loves to raise the volume and RPM's to all CCR, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Hank, and just about anything from her younger years. Good thing I like all her favorites!

That Was My Grandpa's Truck's song! He had an old Apache and was driving home one day and he lost a wheel and it passed him. He said all he could think of was "You picked a fine time to leave me Loose Wheel". Grandpa's been gone for 20 something years now and its still a family joke we all share.

Re: Your Truck's "Theme Song"

I listen to a wide variety of tunes while driving, but I ALWAYS have some AC/DC on hand on CD or in the MP3 player! Back in Black and Hells Bells are hard to beat, and they have to be LOUD because no mortal man can come close to singing along and making it sound right... Oh, the looks I've got while bobbing my head to an Angus guitar solo...

I'm also pretty partial to a lot of "outlaw" country by Waylon, Willie, Johnny, and the rest. They sound just right when driving an old truck! And the one song that ALWAYS gets me singing is Roger Miller's "King of the Road".
