Re: Do-able project?

Looks like mainly surface rust. If the wife says OK, seems like it would nice in a flat black with steelies. Make a nice rat project out of it and cruise it without the worries of door dings, etc. My next project will be all rat!

Re: Do-able project?

I'd say someone has done a bit of roof chopping on it already..

Re: Do-able project?

I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat and turn it into this:

Re: Do-able project?

Looks to me like someone did a halfass chop job on it. Did they kluge up the frame also? I would say you will probably be inheriting someone elses screwup. Start fresh and do it right. If the price is right you can buy this for the sheet metal ($350 or so) which can be used to save another truck. Does it have a clear title? If not that can be a major headache also.

My first instinct is to say walk away though.

How do the doors line up, can't see it very well in the photo
How are the floors and rear pockets for rust?
