Saw the movie many times. Stayed at the Stanley Hotel but you have to make reservations months in advance. And date on picture doesn't always mean much.

I am glad I am not the only one here that has not seen the movie, at least not all of the movie. The picture looked to me like one that could have came from that era. And if the date was not on it then my guess would have been Jack for sure.

Yeah, couldn't help but see bits & pieces of the movie and hear all the talk. Somewhere around then I stopped going to theaters, plus I'm just not into horrors movies.

But I've been to the Stanley Hotel... in a deuce and a quarter. We stayed at a hostel near Estes Park and a troop carrier was the bus into town and a daily tour wagon.

The Zonks. That's a name I do not recall. I am very familiar with Dairy Queen, though! I had to look them up

I used to go to Dairy Queen. Not for the ice cream though. They had the best cheeseburgers. Then it closed. Another victim of changes.

Years later they opened one in a strip mall by my office. I thought it would be great to get one of those burgers again. But all this place had was the worlds worst hot dogs. Not much of a menu. The old place was way better. The new one closed up pretty quick. Same thing with A&W. The old one was a drive up not a drive thru and it was good. The new one was in a KFC and it was terrible.
I guess that's what they call progress.

I have to hand it to In N Out and Tommy's. Only the prices have changed.

My wife ordered a new helmet from Bell . She got the tracking number last Friday she gets a notice today it was delivered. Nothing here check the confirmation it was Delivered to an address in Epps Louisiana and left on the porch so I google mapped it . It’s a real place so now she needs to file a claim with UPS . Now that the back story is in place I snapped this pic of the address . Wonder if the truck is for sale

I wonder when that picture was taken . If you look up my address on google maps it shows a black and white 69 C10 I had back in 2007 in my front yard.
