Re: Short Changed

Thanks to Kyle, Short Changed got side tracked.

Well, I say thanks to him - it was my fault actually. Sent Ruth in for a simple respray and things mushroomed from there, and that took a lot of resource from SC.

On top of that, I'm rethinking the direction I want to go on it. Better to get that settled now, you know?

What direction would that be?

Re: Short Changed

Was going for something similar to this (style-wise):

But now am considering something like Kyle's project.

I need to figure out which of my 3 trucks I want to keep, and what I really want to do with it.

Re: Short Changed

The front end that I purchased from Scott's will not work to my satisfaction. The steering column would've required too many universal joints as the motor mount is right in the way. So that derailed the project and I moved on to other things.

That pretty much dampened any enthusiasm I have for the project right now.

Sorry to hear about that... always disheartening when you spend big money like that to have it not work out...

Sorry to hear about that... Maybe when you get Ruth back, you can enjoy her some and get your enthusiasm back.

Re: Short Changed

Bit of an update here. I guess someone called Justin and tipped him off about the thread. Let me say right up front I never told Justin I wasnt happy. I just sidelined the project. Kyle and I got all wrapped up doing Ruth and a few other projects and honestly Short Changed was put at the back of the line.

About two seconds in the phone conversation with Justin, he told me flat out he would do whatever it takes to make this work to my satisfaction. He runs a first rate business with top notch parts - I'm really not worried about getting this resolved at all.

If there's any reason for the delay, it's been me. I'll get back on this in a while, stay tuned.

Re: Short Changed

This is a bit of an old thread, but I was wondering what has happened with this project?
