Thanks for kind words!!! I will hopefully have some new updates this weekend. I reskined the inside of the bed and re-shaped the front bed panel to match the sides. I think it looks sweet. Also for the last few days i have been jointing and planing wood for the bed. I decided i couldn't wait to see what the bed is going to look like so i bought a crap load of wood and have been working on that. I will upload pics when i get it done! Later

Re: Finally my own build thread!

Well i got some more progress done. Unfortunately my table saw broke some sort of pin that allowed me to make the blade go up and down so i wasn't able to finish the wood for the bed. Its almost done or i would like to think so. It has been alot of work jointing and then plaining all the wood to the correct thickness because all my wood working tools are upstairs. Okay maybe i'm a little lazy. I also changed the front bed panel to match the sides. I think it came out great and really looking forward to seeing it on the ground with the cab on. Anyways heres some pics. The flat bars inbetween the wood are stainless and will be polished at a later date. They are not bolted down yet so that is why some look higher than others. The will be bolted down from the bottom so you don't see any bolts from the top. I just needed more time to finish plus i ran out of the stainless flat bar. Also the wood is just sitting there so that is why some are not evenly matched up. Will take some more pics when they are fully bolted down and aligned.

Re: Finally my own build thread!

I almost forgot. I am gong to make a rear panel that is going to cover the ends of the wood like i have on the sides and also going to carry that same thing around the rear stake post so you don't see any of the edges of the wood. just thought i would point that out.

You should do it. That would be sweet! Maybe just behind the rear seats towards the back. I thought i have seen that before but don't remember where but it would definately be different. Thanks for the complement!

Sweet looking truck bodydropped! Love that blue!

On another note Carter nailed the rendering. He got some time to finalize the rendering and it came out great. So what do you all think. Is the truck going in the right direction?
