Re: You Know You're a Hardcore Chevy/GMC Truck Fanatic When:

-When you make your dad park his truck outside so yours can sit in the shop.

-When have already owned four 67-72 chevy trucks and your only 16 years old.

-When you are rebuilding your motor and feel that all the parts and pieces must go back to factory specs and colors or it's just not right.

-When you wash, detail, and wax your truck more than 3 or 4 times a month.

Re: You Know You're a Hardcore Chevy/GMC Truck Fanatic When:

- you see a clean Chevy work truck on a local car lot for sale then get sick to your stomach when see the Ford hubcaps they put on it.

- you easily spot newer model wheels or Tahoe wheels on a Chevy truck.

- your co-workers say that your yard at home must look like an old Chevrolet dealership lot (I took this as a compliment!)

- you get so excited about a cool Craigslist or junkyard find & post about your score on Facebook then only get 1 or 2 likes and seriously wonder what is wrong with these people I call friends.

- you have purchased tailgates, 4wd hubcaps, grills & SWB beds just because it was killer deal & one day you may need it for a project.

- you look at clock on computer & realized you have spent the last hour reading this thread & adding to it, at work!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
