Wh yfor I can't pull my ignition lock cylinder?
I've done this many times on my first truck, and it should be a simple task. But not so much for my latest truck. Set on ACC, push the button, release pressure on the button while turning counter clockwise and done.
I'm doing just that, once I release the pin, it clicks maybe a degree or so counter clockwise. Looks right, feels right, doesn't pop out. WD-40, some jiggle & wiggle & nothing. Very frustrating.

Once in a while I run into one like that. Try pushing in on the cylinder while turning it that last little bit. Sometimes that helps. LockDoc

If it is turned far enough past acc you can unscrew the bezel and it will act like a puller

Tried that and pulling too. Time to take a break. Honest to God over an hour now.

Re: Wh yfor I can't pull my ignition lock cylinder?
Bingo. I did what Randy suggested, again. That wasn't enough, so I got behind the bezel with a hook, pulled, and now I can install LocDoc's legit cylinder. No rust. My guess is just junk repop. Thanks for your help guys.

Re: Wh yfor I can't pull my ignition lock cylinder?
I just did mine and it was a major pita also. Eventually just kept playing with it and it popped out. Thank God for Loc Doc
