Re: off it goes

Sorta surprised the master cylinder didn't go in the dash or floor.

Re: off it goes

no, still trying to keep it somewhat stock looking but in a much cleaner simpler way. I think sometimes the firewall can be to plain and bare looking if it has nothing on it

Agreed. Same with tailgates using aftermarket flat panels....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Exactly, some can look to plain...and then some guys can get to crazy with a bead roller and make stuff look to overdone. Just trying to stay somewhat in the middle

Make it look like nothing has been done when a bunch has. You're too focused on the fact of how/why everything seems so tight & well fit that it takes someone telling you or several inspections to NOTICE the changes.

Re: off it goes

Luckily my buddy owns a Hot Rod Upholstery Shop and he is just finishing up my seat and that will conclude all the interior, I kept it clean and classy...I think less is more on interior, just did a dark brown Relicate Leather with a tooled insert to match the door panels. Also decided to do something with the interior handles, a little sand and a quick polish brought them to life

Beautiful work! And just think how easy it will be to narrow down where the oil leaks come from! Would never have even thought of a white engine - it looks gorgeous.

Re: off it goes

The lack of wires on that thing is almost spooky. Everywhere you expect to see wire loom on an engine, there's nothing!
