That level of engine work is beyond me. Very impressive though. How do you know if you missed a part?

I know it’s not much, billet oil cooler blockoff. We’re waiting for the new valve spring compressor, the one I ordered the first time sucked!

Re: My 58 Brookwood

I finally got all the valve springs in one head, These are the good 823 castings with 2.165 intake valves, rectangle intake ports, and D shaped exhaust ports.

Re: My 58 Brookwood

1. New head gaskets came in yesterday, so we put the heads on. Put the headers on and pushrods in. Even started putting the rockers on.
2. I bought billet 1.7:1 roller tipped rockers that are stamped LS3
3. The front of the motor

Agreed! Where did you get those? Most of the "pretty" valve covers seem to omit the oil fill cap, and that's not good for routine maintenance.

Re: My 58 Brookwood

Watching carefully! I have a 59 brookwood that burns as much oil as it leaks. Planning a 5.3 so I’m excited to see how your project goes. Love those old wagons! Keep the updates coming and thanks for sharing.

Re: My 58 Brookwood

Pulled the old 250/3 speed out. Making way for the LS3!
Empty engine bay. I will be converting from manual steering to a CCP Power gearbox. I will also be converting to dual reservoir power disk up front
