good to see you on here, a buddy of mine told me about a 71 or 72 3/4 ton 2wd that is being given away. he's supposed to look at it today or tomorrow and let me know the condition. it sounds like something you can use to build your 68 or maybe it'll be descent enough to build, i'll let you know as soon as i find out something. later.

Hey jerry, that would be great if you can get me that truck for me. Are doors off of a 72 pickup the same as 68 or id there a differnt body line?

outside is the same, 72's used a molded plastic door panel compared to a flat panel 67-71, internal parts are different - window regulator and door latch. i didn't hear anything on the truck yesterday so should find out today.

he will bring it down to me this weekend-- i haven't seen it yet. he's asking $175.00 for it. he's pretty fussy about his parts and said he wouldn't hesitate to use it if he was building a fleetside so i'm assuming it's a nice piece.

Hey jerry, what do you think a 71-72 3/4 2wd with a stock 402 big block is worth? There is not a lot of rust and body isnt that bad.

Hey Jerry, on the front of my truck it has all the 3/4 ton suspension. What would you have to do to put 1/2 ton stuff on it. Like the 5 or 6 lug. Whould a 73 + suspension fit?

i talked to him last night, he went and looked at it yesterday. the owner wasn't home so he left his number and will let me know as soon as he hears something. it is a disc brake truck (71-72) but has rust.
