17" x 8" Wheels and Tires

I am selling my 17" x 8", 5 on 5, aluminum Eagle 206 wheels. The front tires are BFGoodrich Scorcher T/A (255/50/17) and the rear tires are BFGoodrich Comp T/A (275/60/17). Nothing is wrong with the wheels or tires. The Scorchers have ZERO MILES on them. The rear tires have about 3000 miles on them. Going price is $750 obo, no shipping. I have upgraded wheels and no longer need these. Later, FCG

Wish I had some cash. That is a good deal on the wheels/tires. My 71 is in the body shop so I have no money. How sad! Your truck is looking good Mark. I will need a fuel cell once I get the new frame done and will get back with you.

I'm interested - what condition is the finish in? I'll be in the Dallas metro area at the end of this month. Do you have any other pics? How about a lay-a-way plan for one of Ernie's buds?

I can get some more pics tomorrow. They are in great condition. I'll do the lay-a-way thing. First come, first served. Pay what you want, when you can and when they are paid in full, I can meet you somewhere for delivery. If you are going to Dallas, you could stop by and take a look at them in person. I am about 25 miles south of IH 30 on Highway 37. You can pick up highway 80 from here and go on in to Dallas. Let me know what you think. Later, FCG

Sounds good - Please post some more pics tomorrow if you can. I'd almost say yes, but I'd like to see the pics first.

Thanks

Layaway is probably the only way I am going to get some nice wheels like this at the moment. Will be anxiously awaiting your pictures. Thanx! Ernie

The front tires are brand new. The side that is bald, is bald from the factory. It is for better cornering. Check out the Scorcher tires at tires.com.

Mark, congrats on selling them. I was wondering if you could give me the offset needed to fit them. I`m building a 70 and I like the look of the 17" wheel with a 60 series tire. Thanks

FCG, did you have to do any mods to the bed for these wheels to fit? I am building a '68 right now, it has some pretty wide boyds on the rear, not sure of the size, but looking at them I can tell they won't fit. I would like to know before I put the bed together, would be a little easier to work on while it is disassembled. Thanks in advance!

Clearance....

Both the 17" x 8" and the 20" x 8.5" fit with no modification. Hope this helps you out. Later, FCG
