I pretty much have the same truck as you, I can get the numbers off my quadrajet in the morning if you want, all I know off the top of my head is that it is a 4-barrell.

There more to it if you want to be 100% original. Depends on if its an automatic or a standard transmission. 1/2 ton 3/4 ton or 1 ton..here's a list of them all

1972 Series 10 S/T 7042219
A/T R-4-4MV 7042218
Series 20, 30 S/T 7042207
A/T R-4-4MV 7042206

7042202 is a 350 engine 4 bbl car carb.
1972 CHEVY CAMARO 200 HP/CHEVELLE/EL CAMINO/NOVA/CORVETTE 200 350 A 4 7042202

I am also looking for a couple of carbs also...BB 72 style if there becomes more than one for sale/trade.

Myself I could use a carb for a 1 ton standard tranny...# 7042207

I have looked at several different sites for numbers on Q-Jets and much of the information conflicts. One site stated that two or more identical carbs can have very different numbers depending upon the make of vehicle, tranny, year and emission standards. Go figure!

I'll check the numbers. When we pull them we put Sta Bil gas treatment in them and wrap them in a plastic bag with the year marked on them. I would guess 8.00 shipping USPS Priority.

The carb you are looking for is 7042206. Here is also a link to a website where you can i.d. and order parts/service for your quadrajets. (NU272 directed me to this place). good luck http://www.carbs.net/Number/oemnumber.asp

Thanx!
