New guy

Hi All. My name is Dwayne and I live on the central coast of California between Santa Maria and Solvang in a little town called Los Alamos.
I just traded an 86 IROC for a 72 3/4 ton Chevy w/Camper shell.
I needed a larger work truck and have enough Camaro's. The truck is mostly complete but pretty beat up. Barely any of the trim is good and there are lots of dents but I haven't found any rust yet
It's a 4X2 auto w/ air and a Z62 RPO. It has a wood bed but I'll be using it as a work/tow/hunting truck. I guess I'll be looking for some really hard wood to deal with the constent use. Has any body heard of using the plastic or any other type of simulated wood material on these beds?

I'll post a pict as soon as I can.

Thanks djracer.
I just found some free wiring diagrams on this site! Now I can figure out why the lights go dim then one goes out then they all come back on like every things ok! Oh...and the horn makes the high beams go on!

The camper doesn't have jacks so I have to come up with something to remove the camper shell.

Thanks for the warm welcome from all over.

Here are some picts after I was able to remove the camper. Lots of work in these picts.

By looking at the glove box info, is there anything special here? Like I said before it will be a daily driver/work horse that I'm happy with it being a plain jane or something special.
