Ford 9" F.S.

This is the Lincoln rear with the 5x5 bolt pattern. All the Lincoln brackets have been shaved off . This has the drum brakes and not the disc. I believe there's some sort of locker in place but can't verify other then not being able to spin one drum without the other spinning. $100

Question.... I see a suprising number of cars around, often on the drag strip, w/ Ford rear ends, regardless of the car manufacturer. It seems to be preferred??? Why is that?

the ford 9" is a very strong rear and theres aftermarket parts out the wazoo available for em. plus the carrier unbolts and comes out so you can swap the gears on the bench

plus if you break an axle the wheel usually doesn't come off the car or truck and kill the quarter panel or bedside!

10.39 1/4 @ 125.83

Nitrous Times:
5.785 1/8 @ 118.65 with a 1.336 60ft
9.168 1/4 @ 142.58 with a 250 shot dead out of the hole!
