Ihave a guy wanting to trade me a single wall top on some truckparts. I know the value of my parts but don't know what a, what looks like an above average top, said he had the hidges redone by a pro. It looks real solid, no crakes that I could see and all the hard ware is there, it's still on the blazer and the rolling 4wd chassis looks to be ok too. Anyway can anyone give me a ballpark idea of value? Thanks Dean@tnchev M G B Y

I was following prices for awhile on Ebay for the past few months and noticed that the price is closely related to the region you live it. Out west, CA, WA, OR, they seem to be in big demand so the price can be quite high depending on shape. I saw a perfect top go in Indiana though for just over a $100(single wall).
I'd say in your area that top would go for max $150-$200 in good shape. It has had work though and my thoughts would be that it will probably need work again even though you said it looks good. The hardware is a good thing that adds value.

I paid $200 last year for a double wall with the rear hatch, needs some minor fiberglass work. It was missing some hardware, like one of the rear hatch slides that holds the hatch up. It is difficult and expensive to find/buy the little things like that. Make sure you also get all the hardware needed to properly fasten the top. If it is absolutely complete with all the hardware I think the top your looking at is worth quite a bit more, especially since alot of people like the single wall top more than the double wall. Just my .02

Yes, It's all there plus two extra tinted side windows. He is out of town for 4 days working and will be back on wed. I may just go ahead and trade with him. I paid 300 for mine.it is all thier bnut has a small crack in the back nothing bad and i had to redbuild the rear hatch it was cracking around the handle

Single wall tops are the more desireable but they are plentiful. The hatch is key. A excellent hatch can bring $150 with all the hardware and the top without the hatch can also bring $150. I've never seen a top without some surface cracking where the pieces of fibergalass are seamed (inside or exterior). That is not structual so no big whoop. The top surface is sometimes concave so you have to look at the top from the top. It is also very common for a small piece to be broken on one of the front corners from storage. The originally came with chrome or stainless pieces that go down the side -----where the mounting bolts go through. They are heavy and require a minimum of 2 guys to move or mount them---and that is a struggle so be aware if you swap for it. Good luck---Huck

Follow on---the Burb seats and the blazer seats are the same but---the mounts are very different. You can usually find a rear seat for a blazer with mounts for around $100.
If the trade is for the rolling chassis, top and body---that puts a different light on the trade----rolling 4x4 chassis = without body==$1--300. The body---that depends on the rust damage and can be worth nothing to a lot! Would gladly pay $1500. for a truly solid Blazer body with no rust damage. Huck
