floor heater not heating

94' 1500 with 181k on it.......Just love it! When I put the floor heat on only half comes out, the other half comes out the defroster. The same happens with the AC on. Half comes out the defrost and the other half comes out the panel and the floor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for all the help.

You know this is the Blazer section, right?

Anyway, sounds like a sticking door in your HVAC box or a bad vacuum diaphragm (or cable, not sure which your uses). Stick your head under the dash and see if you can see the control units for the doors (there should be three: one to control direction of flow, one to control fresh or recirculated air and one for temperature). By moving the levers back and forth, you should be able to tell which is which.
